Dr. Ali Sayed Ali Abdelkawi completed his MBBCh (with honors) at Cairo University, Egypt in 2003.  He took his medical internship at the same university in 2004.  He received his Master’s Degree in Intensive Care Medicine from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2013.

Dr. Ali started his clinical practice as a General Practitioner at Family Medicine Health Units, Egypt in 2005.  In 2008, he became an Intensive Care Resident at the National Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Egypt.  A year later, he worked as an Intensive Care physician at South Sinai Hospital, Egypt.  In 2013, he was posted as an Intensive Care Specialist at Sidnawy Hospital, Egypt.  Shortly after, he became an Intensive Care Specialist at the National Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Egypt.  In 2016, he worked as an Intensive Care Specialist at Misr International Hospital, Egypt.

Dr. Ali is well-trained in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association, Mechanical Ventilation, Critical Care, Pulmonary Critical Care, and Family Medicine.

Dr. Ali’s areas of expertise include managing intensive care conditions, peripheral and central venous access, endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, ABG sampling, nasogastric tube insertion, urinary catheterization, and paracentesis of ascetic fluid.   

Dr. Ali speaks Arabic and English.
