Dr. Aly Rashwan Aly Zalat completed his MBBCh at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt in 1986.  In 1992, he completed his Master’s Degree in Pediatrics at the same university.

Dr. Aly started his clinical practice as House Officer in Ministry of Health Hospitals in Egypt then as Resident Pediatric in Al-Sahel Teaching Hospital, Egypt then as Resident Pediatric in Ashmoun General Hospital Ministry of Health.  In 1993, he moved and continued his practice in Saudi Arabia as Resident Pediatric in Prince Abdullah bin Adel Aziz Hospital, Al Ahly Polyclinic and Hajer Polyclinic.  In 1998, he moved to Oman and worked as a Resident Medical Officer in Pediatric Department at Nizwa Hospital.  In 2006, he moved to the UAE and became a Senior Specialist in Pediatrics and Neonatology Department at a large hospital in Fujairah.  In 2018, he worked as a Pediatric Specialist at a well-known tertiary hospital in Sharjah. Prior to joining Salma Rehabilitation Hospital, Dr. Aly was posted as a Pediatric Specialist in a rehabilitation hospital in Al Ain.

Dr. Aly is well-trained in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Intensive Care.

Dr. Aly’s areas of interest include pediatric emergencies such as respiratory emergencies, cardiovascular emergencies, CNS emergencies, hematological emergencies, gastrointestinal emergencies, and neonatal emergencies. 

Dr. Aly speaks Arabic and English.
