Dr. Areej Abdalrahman Alyas completed her MBBS at Omdurman Islamic University in 2008.  She qualified part I of her Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians - UK in 2011.

Dr. Areej started her clinical practice as a General Practitioner in ENT Department at Elribat Teaching Hospital, Sudan in 2010.  A year later, she became a General Practitioner in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) at the same medical facility.  In 2012, she worked as a General Practitioner in Emergency Department at Sahiroon Hospital, Sudan.  In 2016, she was posted as a General Practitioner in ICU and CCU at the same medical facility.  In 2017, she moved to the UAE and continued her medical practice as General Practitioner at a large private hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Areej is well-trained in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Dr. Areej’s areas of expertise include emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care.

Dr. Areej speaks Arabic and English.
