Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Mohamed Lashin completed his MBBS at the College of Medicine, Al-Azhar University, Egypt in 2002. He qualified his Diploma in Cardiology at Banha University, Egypt in 2015. He received his Master’s Degree in Family Medicine at Suez Canal University, Egypt in 2022.
Dr. Elsayed started his medical practice as a House Officer then as a General Practitioner in Zagazig General Hospital, Egypt in 2003. In 2005, he became a Cardiology and Intensive Care Unit resident at Helmya Military Hospital, Egypt. In 2008, he moved to Saudi Arabia and worked as Family Medicine, Emergency, and Intensive Care Physician at Aljafer Hospital, Saudi Arabia. In 2018, he moved to the UAE and continued his practice as First Response Physician at a private clinic in Dubai. In 2020, he became a COVID-19 response team physician and a team member of COVID-19 vaccine trial study at SEHA’s Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC).
Dr. Elsayed’s areas of expertise include cardiology, family medicine, emergency medicine, and internal medicine. He has intensive experience in managing various medical conditions such as myocardial infarction, stable and unstable angina pectoris, pulmonary edema, pulmonary embolism, hypertensive emergency, acute respiratory distress syndrome, status asthmaticus, respiratory tract infection, status epilepticus and convulsions, sickle cell disease, hyperglycemia, urinary tract infection, ear infection, ear wash, COVID-19, minor trauma, and wound sutures.
Dr. Elsayed is well-trained in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is also trained in airway management and difficult intubation, disaster management, and maternity and child care.
