Dr. Mazin Elrasheed Hamza Elmardi completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) at the Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan in 2016.
Dr. Mazin started his clinical practice as House Officer in Federal Ministry of Health under Secretary’s Office in Sudan starting 2017. In 2019, he became a Medical Officer at Sudan’s Ministry of Health Khartoum State General Directorate of Primary Healthcare. His clinical practice links include Haj Al Safi Teaching Hospital, Ahmed Gasim Specialized Hospital, Alrayhan Specialized Hospital, Blue Nile Hospital, Al Halfaya Charity Clinic, Haj Al Safi Isolation Center, Aliaa Specialized Hospital, and Al Khartoum Isolation Center. In 2021, he moved to the UAE and worked in a government COVID-19 project, then in an intensive long-term care unit in a multi-specialty hospital as General Practitioner.
Dr. Mazin is well-trained in Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. To his credit, he has published research about adversities of self-prescription and over-usage of antibiotics.
Dr. Mazin’s areas of expertise include intensive care medicine and COVID-19 management.
