Dr. Mohamed Mosaad Elsaid Salam received his Diploma in Disaster Medicine and Trauma Management from the Arab Medical Union in 2012. In 2013, he completed his training program in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Unit at Alexandria Main University Hospital, Egypt. In 2019, he became a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine – UK. A year later, he received his European Diploma in Intensive Care from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Belgium. In 2021, he qualified his ECMO Diploma from The La Pitie Salpetrier Sorbbone University, France.
Dr. Mohamed started his clinical practice as an Emergency Medicine Trainee, then as a Senior House Officer, then as a General Practitioner at the Ministry of Health – Egypt in 2006. In 2012, he worked as a Specialist in Disaster Medicine and Trauma Management at the Ministry of Health – Egypt. In 2013, he became a Resident Physician in Acute Medicine at Saudi German Hospital, KSA. In 2014, he moved to Dubai and continued his practice as a Critical Care Medicine Resident at a multispecialty hospital in Dubai. In 2017, he worked as a Critical Care Medicine Registrar in a large tertiary hospital in Dubai.
Dr. Mohamed is well-trained in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Currently, he is an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in Acute Medicine at Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Mohamed’s areas of expertise include management of emergency and critically ill patients such as shock and life-threatening conditions; general medical emergencies and critical care; cardiac and respiratory emergencies; abdominal, liver, and renal emergencies; neurological and neurosurgical emergencies; intubation and difficult airway management.
