Dr. Mohammed Rifaat Alsayed Alsharaki completed his Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2001. He received his Diploma in Clinical Education from Edinburgh, UK. He became a resident of Intensive Care Medicine and Cardiology in Shebein Elkom Teaching Hospital in 2003. In 2007, he became a resident of Intensive Care Medicine and post-operative cardiothoracic intensive care at Dar El Hekma Hospital and International Medical Center. In 2012, he became a resident of Intensive Care Medicine at New Jeddah Clinic, Saudi Arabia. In 2016, he moved to the UAE and became an intensive care RMO at a private hospital in Sharjah. In 2020, he became the intensive care physician in long-term care and intensive care units at a large medical facility in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Rifaat’s areas of expertise include critical cardiology cases, post-operative critical surgical cases, post-operative cardiothoracic cases, critical polytrauma cases, critical medical cases in neurology, pulmonology, endocrinology, and hepatology. He is also well-trained in handling different kinds of ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and in long-term critical cases.
