Dr. Sami Arfaoui has over 20 years of medical experience in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine in Paris, France.  He passed his Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine - French Board and Family Medicine - UK Board.  In 2005, he received his Diploma in Emergency Medicine at the University of Paris, France.  In 2015, he received his advanced training and Diploma in Aviation Medicine at EUSAM / Lufthansa.  In 2016, he received his International Diploma in ECMO and Respiratory/Circulatory Support.  In 2017, he completed his Advanced Diploma in Occupational Medicine at the University of Manchester, UK.

He is a certified instructor of American Heart Association for Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.  He is also a licensed Aeromedical examiner.

Dr. Sami started his medical practice as a Medical Doctor in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at SOS Doctors 95 Val Doise France in 1999.  In 2007, he worked as Pre-Hospital Emergency Doctor at Intercommunity Hospitals Porte de L’Oise Beaumont sur Oise France.  In 2008, he was posted as Pre-Hospital Emergency Doctor at Hospital Delafontaine Saint Denis France.  Shortly after, he became an Emergency Medicine Doctor at Hospital Simone Veil Eaubonne France.  In 2010, he moved to the UAE and continued his clinical practice as a Coordinating Doctor then as Deputy Medical Director in International SOS MEA (Dubai Assistance Center). 

Dr. Sami’s areas of expertise include accident and emergency medicine such as resuscitation after severe burn injuries, severe polytrauma, poisoning, overdose; airway management in adult and children; emergencies in pediatrics, cardiology and pulmonology, urology, obstetrics, orthopedics, neurology; chest drain insertion, central and peripheral intravenous catheterization, gastric and cystic catheterization, pre-hospital accident and emergencies, family medicine, pediatric family medicine, geriatric family medicine, emergency ultrasound (FAST), medical assistance, and remove topside support.
